The pool at the Raleigh Hotel
It’s hot today in California, wishing I had something like this in my backyard. Unfortunately, this 1940s pool is stationed at The Raleigh in South Beach, Miami. Swimmer Esther Williams did laps here. According to the hotel’s Web site
41 Hotels (2789 rooms) were built between 1940 and 1942, a period called ‘Boom over Miami.’
I have a feeling this pool is one-of-a-kind.
