For the January issue I wanted to find an inspirational story: the West’s version of losing weight. Editor Jess Chamberlain pitched this idea about a couple with a technology-free house; it was a perfect fit.
The new art capital: Los Angeles
The editor-in-chief wanted a fun, surprising story for Sunset’s January 2012 issue. I started researching and reaching out to freelancers. I ended up developing this with L.A.-based freelancer Laurel Delp within a month of publishing deadline.
